Enterprise's Housing as a Pathway to Justice (H2J) initiative explores the intersection of housing and the criminal legal system.
Over the past three years, H2J has developed a body of work dedicated to expanding the ecosystem focused on the nexus between housing and the criminal legal system (CLS) that includes conducting landscape scans at the state and regional levels and researching and publishing blogs. H2J has also led and facilitated a community of practice and regional cohorts to support the building of partnerships and skills specific to housing opportunities for justice-impacted individuals.
The H2J National Toolkit aims to begin building a network of support and actionable pathways for housers to better understand and serve the justice-impacted population. It is our intention to develop a more inclusive approach to housing, ensuring full access to the housing bundle for all people impacted by the CLS. We are thankful to The Fortune Society who led research and content development for this toolkit. Enterprise would also like to thank our philanthropic partners, JPMorgan Chase and Trinity Church Wall Street, for their vital support of our Housing as a Pathway to Justice program and National Toolkit.
